What percent of students are meeting the proficiency achievement benchmark on the Dynamic Learning Maps Alternate Assessment?
What does this score mean?
The Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) assessments are Iowa’s Alternate Assessments for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities whose academic performance is appropriately judged against alternate achievement standards. The DLM assessments for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics are yearlong instructionally embedded assessments for students in grades 3-11. Science is a year-end assessment for students in grades 5, 8 and 10. This data shows the percentage of students taking the DLM Alternate Assessment who tested proficient in ELA, mathematics and science.
