Conditions for Learning
How do students perceive the learning environment of the school?
What does this score mean?
Students in grades 3 through 12 completed the Conditions for Learning Survey to assess safety, student engagement and the overall learning environment in each building. Surveys from all grades 3 through 12 are included in schools' accountability scores. This data provides important information about student perception and serves as a foundation on which to build an action plan for improving the learning environment for all students. The information will also help to determine the level of support needed by schools, and the resources they may need to provide an optimal learning environment for all learners. A high score indicates a positive perception of the school environment. The accountability view displays standard scores which are combined across all grades and constructs while the in-depth view displays all positive response rates broken out by survey type and construct.
